Well, same story, different country!!!

I just bought a Digital Research DA 5.1 Pro Series III home theater system for 240$ CND!!! From what I can read I'm lucky I did'nt pay more then that.

The 2 conartists approached me in the street here in Montreal. They showed me the speaker system, brand new in the crates, and showed me the system from an official brochure of the company... A $1999 USD deal for almost nothing!!!

When I said they we're crazy, they told me they received an extra box from a pick-up they just made at a warehouse somewhere and if they were to bring this to the store where they worked, the boss would sell it full price with a 100% profit (yeah I'm stupid). So they we're willing to let it go right now for 600$ or 700$ cash money.

I would not say that often, but I was lucky to have only $240 CND left because I'm so stupid, I would have probably paid more then that.

When I check the internet for the company records back home, all I was able to find was a complaint here on this site!!!

Be more aware and less greedy than I was...
