Speaker Ripoff

A white man and a woman approached me in a Ford Windstar and asked if I wanted a home theater system. He showed me a magazine that said it was worth $2000. He asked for $500 but I paid $160 for them. At the same time that I was buying it, a black man approached the van as well and "bought" one of the system. Whether this was scripted or another victim I do not know but I already paid for it and drove off.

Upon getting home, I researched the speakers and found that it was a fraud. They have a very elaborate and complex scam that includes the fabrication of a magazine to sell the speakers. What I thought was a good deal is actually a piece of crap. Anyways, if you see them don't give into them and commit the same mistake I have done. I do not have a lot of money but there are probably more people worse off than I am that have been scammed by this as well.
