CHL Prpoerties - CBCS Collections - ACB Credit Bureau ripoff, fake reports, fraudulent billing

CBCS sent me a bill for $816 for apprently not paying one of my old apartment complexes by the name of CHL Properties. I contacted them and I sent them the receipt (not a copy, the actual receipt) the company gave me. I waited 30 days and then I called back. They claim that they were waiting to hear back from the company. Little did they know, I had done some research on my own to try and locate the company.

Apparently, they went out of business and was bought out by another company because they had been pocketing everyone's rent money and not paying any mortgage or property fees, they weren't fixing any problems int he apartments, etc.

I called CBCS back like two days later to tell them what I found out and the rude young lady on the phone said that it didn't matter because they were not going to stop reporting this until it's paid. I reminded the idiot that I sent in my actual receipt of payment for their records. She didn't reply after I said that. She told me that someone would be in touch and I never heard from them again.
