A telemarketer called my 80 year old mother and told her for $3.95 they would give her free movie tickets and all this other stuff, however they only take checks and would need her bank information and checking account number. She gave them the information and then they told her it would be $119.00 for every month.
She told them she didn't want it and they said too late. They told her to call back in 3-4 days. I called them and they would not give me any information and hung up on me when I asked who owned their company. I called back again and said I wanted to speak to a manager and the person on the phone said they were the manager but would not tell me their name or who owned their company. This is a big SCAM.
