Store Falsely Accused My 13 Year Old Daughter of Shoplifting

My 13 year old daughter, who is an 8th grader at a private school, an honor student, three sport athlete for the elementary school, was in the Staples Cold Spring, KY store and was humiliated by the staff outside of the store who falsely accused her of stealing a roll of duct tape. They illegally spoke to her without our permission then searched her purse. Needless to say, she didn't steal anything. Her mom was working next store at her grade school about a 100 yards away. My daughter was extremely shaken and frightened and my wife called the manager and they denied searching her purse or accusing her of stealing. My daughter was in the store for 15 minutes. This is an outrage and we are seeking legal counsel. She was obviously profiled to bully and was obviously done out of boredom. This cannot go on. We spend a lot of money there and so do the teachers who work next store. We will never shop there again, and are passing the word to the entire teaching staff to not shop there via social media. I'm disgusted with Staples. We are contacting the CEO as well to make him aware of this incident. Be wary if you have teenage children and you are planning on shopping there. They obviously are profiling that age as potential shoplifters.
