Miscellaneous

On 3-25 my husband contracted the services of this company to restore his 1967 Pontiac GTO. A written contract was agreed to and signed by both parties detailing the work to be done in 3 stages and the total cost of $30,000. As of today 9-16, some work in each stage has been done but not completed and we have paid all but $5,000 of the total due. My husband has repeatedly tried to contact the business and its owner to find out an expected date of completion. He has visited the shop to speak to the owner and was told each time that the owner is not available and to come back later. The owner leaves voicemails and sends text messages to my husband giving various reasons for non-completion (ie. Death in family, daughter was in tragic car accident in another town, he had a serious car accident, etc) and that he will get back to him/my husband when he returns or at a later date. This is so disappointing since this is alot of money and my husband is the original owner of this GTO. This is NOT good business! We WILL take legal action against this company and its owner! Others BEWARE...
