Sprint wireless network is deplorable in the Central Coast of California and in Arizona

I have had Sprint Wireless for a year and the network has been just plain awful. I have had dropped calls, poor transmission, and it just goes on an on. Unfortunately when I switched over to them last year my wife was on a family emergency and I could not get it together to cancel during the initial two weeks. It is one of my greatest regrets.
At any rate I spend Winter, Spring and Fall in Phoenix and my summers on the Central Coast of California, and the service has been deplorable wherever I go.
They will not let me out of my contract.
I have an Iphone 5 and I love the phone and wish Sprint to get it together, I would like to be able to use it.
