AM Press Assoc/MAGS R US ripoff/never got mag

While I was cooking supper one evening, there was a knock at the. Since I don't get visitors very often I was suprised at this. When I answered, there was a young man there giving me his sales pitch about college and contest and blah, blah, blah. At the very same time, there were two young girls hitting my neighbors up with the same pitch. This should have made me suspicious. But since I am a trusting person, I listened. Although I didn't see any magazines I was really that intereted in, there were mostly trashy wrags full of pop culture nonsense, I bought one to help the young guy out. Boy oh boy was this a mistake. I waited the full 120 days like the receipt stated before I bothered to make any inquiries. Since I had paid the 24.95 in full, I waited patiently. Turns out I was ripped off. I have never received any magazine. The phone number I found was simply to an answering service. Emails to this company got no response. Well, to make a long story short, the next time some person shows up at my door uninvited he will first see the business end of a 44. Kids these days are active scam artists looking for a quick easy way to make a buck. Screw 'em. No more support from this taxpayer to support schools programs and such. Let em struggle and work hard like the rest of us had to. Never again will I give a young stranger the benefit of the doubt.
