2 1/2 hour Oil change

I received an advertisement for a $9.95 oil change with Claremont Toyota in Claremont, CA. The paper said to call and make an appointment. It was only good for Wednesday and Thursday, August 7, and 8. I made an appointment for 12:00 on Thurs. Aug. 8. I arrived at 11:30 and was told my vehicle would be ready by 1:30pm. It took the salesman 30 minutes to do the paperwork alone. I returned at 1:30pm and was informed by the cashier it was not ready. I sat in the lobby until 2:00pm and went to inquire about my car. The cashier said it was going to be another half hour. I explained to her I had to be at the airport at 2:30pm to pick up my sister. I was told I could take the shuttle. I went to the shuttle area and the clerk was on a personal call, which meant I was ignored. I went back into the office, informed the cashier I wanted to talk to someone, and she took me to the service manager. I explained to him I dropped my car at 11:30, was told it would be ready by 2:00, here it is 2:10 and I still have no car. I explained my sister was flying in at 2:30 and he proceeded to say" LOOKS LIKE YOU WILL BE LATE." I said I had an appointment at 12:00. He then said they don't take appointments only reservations. I asked him why it takes 2 1/2 hours to do an oil change. He then said he would check on the car. He came back and said they were working on it and they would take care of the paperwork, and for me to go to the waiting area outside so I may have my car when it was completed. It was now 2:20pm. Needless to say, I was quite upset with Claremont Toyota for the treatment I received by the Manager It was bad enough to have my oil change take 2 1/2 hours, but I could not believe the attitude and response with my concern from the management!
