Miscellaneous

My debit card number was compromised and used to purchase wireless minutes for three different pre-paid wireless phone numbers through this company. After speaking to my bank's fraud department, I was told to contact Vesta to let them know of the fraudulent activity and to ask them to credit me back. I spoke to the guy who asked for my debit card number, which I gave to him, because it had been cancelled by my bank. He said he was looking at the information and saw "the charge" on my account. I told him to keep looking because there were actually THREE. He said "oh yes, I see them now" and proceeded to tell me that since I had already contacted my back, they would have to credit me back and then hung up on me. Of course I didn't write down his name, so I had no idea who I even talked to. I called back and spoke to someone who was supposedly a supervisor and she claimed that she would have no way of finding out who the person was that I spoke to. When I explained what happened, she basically told me that she wouldn't be able to look anything up and I should call my bank because they only process payments for Cricket Wireless. When I told her that my number was STOLEN she got snippy with me.

This company is a joke and I got ZERO satisfaction from their "customer service" department.
