Received post card in the mail-looked legal soliciting people that are not being given assistance to refinance or receive a loan modification with their bank.

This "law" group promised a 2% refi and value of the condo would be lowered as well as my line of credit would be abolished. That part I did not believe.
For 15 months they jerked me around. They would not return phone calls or get my PRIVATE information to Chase for the loan modification. I would email and fight with them. I should have known something wasn't right when they insisted on the $3500 up front. I learned a long time ago, NEVER PAY FOR SERVICE NOT received up front.
