My mother-in-law was having issues with her laptop and seen this business online. Her PC had very little issues but one of her adult children inadvertently downloaded some rogue harmless mal-ware on to her PC and it caused her issues. As I was out of town she didn't want to bother me. She has Norton and the issue would have quickly been fixed in seconds.
They proceeded to call her and scare her into thinking that Staples would charge her $250-$350 to fix her problem. They quickly did it on line with her and nailed her for an astronomical amount of $189.00 bilking a 80 year old woman.
Unbelievable!!!
Than they tried to rope her into a continued help line for only $19.95 tax per month.
