Ripoff, scam, they want your money?

I want to say thank you to all that have wrote in about this particular company. I have been writing poetry since I was a little girl. I have been told by many of my friends and family my whole life that I should try to get published. I finally decided to take my chances and I entered into a contest from poetry.com.
As others have wrote in, I to have had the same expirience. They said if I sent them money they would publish me in a book (coffee table edition) and continue my poem on in the competition.
Today I received another letter inviting me to a reading and contest for $20,000 in Orlando, Florida. I was sooo. Excited, but then my eldest sister told me to check it out with consumer complaints, and I found people with the same experiences.
I am glad to know that this is just another way for people to make a buck before I sent them $495.00 of my hard earned money. Thank you!!!
