Received a phone call from this company. Person I talked to said his name was Michael Davis. They told me they are calling me on behalf of American Cash Advance to notify me that they were pressing charges against me because of a loan i did not pay. To settle all of it without involving the court i could pay back the outstanding fee of 385 dollars. I was thinking it was a loan i currently had because the dollar amount sounded about the same. I immediately panicked and chose to settle it without court. The only way for me to pay the fee was to get a Greendot money Pak and provide the number on the back. I have never used a card like this, i felt so pressured, person on the phone threatened to call authorities and have me arrested the same day because i had agreed to pay back the money and was not following through. Under pressure and stress. I did what was asked. Unfortunately later to find out that the only company i have a current loan, I am on good standing with them.
