Miscellaneous

I googled Yahoo technical support, and it provided a 800-262-9375. I have problems with Yahoo emails on my iphone 4s, and spoke to Dave Brown, he claims he is with Yahoo technical support team. He remotely go into my computer and told me that my computer has been compromised. He said in order to protect my computer from Hackers, there are several plans that I could choose from (1) Lifetime $499 (2) 4 years protection $299 or
(3) $199.00 for 2 years protection. He remotely went to my computer, and make me type in my credit card information. I asked him why and he said he cannot take information over the phone, and it is required of me to type in my credit card information. I did it, and he has also installed a anti-virus in my computer. Prior to the installation, he went to my yahoo email address and type an email with my name and authorizing payment to tech2tech account. I was reading the email that he had drafted and it did not mentioned anywhere on the email that tech2tech is part of yahoo technical support team, before I had a chance to ask him any questions, he sent the email authorizing payment from my behalf.

He also told me that Norton anti-virus is not any good at detecting hackers on my computer, and that they are over priced. Dave Brown (I doubt that is his real name because of his accent), he said that the anti-virus that he had installed in my computer covers 2 pcs, and that I should call him back tonight at 7:30 P.M. I called yahoo technical support today, on August 7, they said that tech2tech support is not affiliated with yahoo. At that moment, I realized that I was scammed by this company.

The man on the phone mentioned that my computer was compromised, that made me nervous, I wanted to protect my compute, and that's when I got sucked into believing or thought the guy that I was talking to was with yahoo technical support.

Be careful!!!
