I like many others got conned into buying slimming aid tablets following an advert on Internet for £2.99 together with alleged cleansing tablets for the same amount. I did receive the tablets but they didn't work and I have since found that they have taken £83 from my current account. My bank have been unable to help
(Although they have supposedly cancelled any future payments being made to this company) But they confirmed they had received lots of similar calls and are trying to do simething about it. Trading standards have also received many complaints and again are currently looking into it. I would like others to take note and make sure they do not fall into the same trap.
