Unfair Financial Conducts

Miscellaneous

On June 21st I paid for a Canadian money order for $35 to MDG as deposit toward purchase of a new laptop. MDG responded on June 28th the money order was received but they cannot accept it as down payment. They said the money order was returned to me. It had been more than four weeks now and I still hadn't received it. I email them about this. All they did was the "it had been returned where it came from." What exactly does this mean?

I want to know where they had sent it and why they would not accept money orders as payments.in their ads they clearly states I can pay off the balance at anytime. They also given me some lame excuse "everyone is approved" for financing but they want me to pay a minimal five payments of a new laptop MSRP of $500 for a "standard" forty eight months at 19.8% compound interest. I calculated it would cost over $1300 by the time this contract come to an end in four years. I wanted a monthly payment schedule for eighteen months. MDG insists on biweekly payments for forty eight months. Their practice allow them total control of payment terms and greatly over inflate their interest rates and payments.

I question their policies and how they conduct business with consumers.
