I purchased 2 of the heavy duty hoses on the 4th of April. A month into use, the hose exploded at the point of connection to the sprinkler head and drove plastic into my finger. Needless to say, it couldn't be used any more.

I have tried 4 times to reach the company to have the hose replaced. On 6/4 I spoke to Shiresa and was told that a label (pre-paid) would be sent to me and that I should package up the damaged hose and return it to them for replacement. On 6/17 I called again and spoke to Sandra and was told basiclly the same thing and that they were sorry the label hadn't arrived yet. They would send one which should arrive in about 10 days. Called again on April 26 and spoke to Abegaile who again appoligized and said it would be sent right out. Nothing! Called the last time on July 8 and asked to speak to a supervisor. Was turned over to Brian who said he was a supervisor with the #T-67. He also appoligized and said the label was shipped on June 28th and it would take about 10 days to arrive. As of this date, there has been no delivery nor correspondence from Flexable Hose.

I feel this is a very inferrior product and the people purchasing it are all being ripped off. I still have one hose, but I am almost afraid to use it due to the chance of it too exploding.

I will also write a letter outlining what I have told you above and see if that makes any difference. I do think this should be publicized to warn others to "purchase at your own risk".
