I received A letter in the mail with a check enclosed for the amount of $1,396.00. The letter informed me that I was to work as a "Consumer Service Evaluator" and that I would be paid the amount of $350.00 for my services. I was instructed to call John Singleton or Rachel Howard at 1-289-892-5641 Monday to Saturday between 8:30am to 10:00pm EST For further instructions. I called the number as the letter instructed a man with a very strong African accent answered the phone claiming to be John Singleton. He instructed me that my first job was to Evaluate any local Western Union. I was told to go deposit or cash the check into my personal account. Then go to Western Union ask for the Green and white send form, then i was told to send the amount of $900.00 to a Joshua Johnson in New York, NY. And to estimate about $76.00 in transaction fees. Then I was to fax the receipt with the tracking number to 1-716-332-3133.
Then the letter informed me to use $70.00 to evaluate one of the following retail stores " Wal_mart, Walgreens, K-mart, sears, Costco, Best Buy, Home Depot, or Office Depot. And as a bonus what ever it is that i buy I keep. The Wal-mart 10 minutes down the road has a Woodforest bank inside they use Western Union for their money transfers so i killed two birds with one stone. I went there did the money transfer then I purchased a Printer/Fax machine to fax them all the receipts. I was instructed to call as well as fax them with the information. I am disabled and i am unable to work do to an accident, I am a father of a 11 year old girl and a 10 year old boy. We are on a very fixed income of only $871.00 a month. I have no idea how i am going to pay all this back. I hope they put these people away for a long long time.
