Miscellaneous

This company with the number (424) 256-1717 contacted me out of random saying that my computer was going to crash for the many viruses it contained. I had never heard from them before, but when they called they walked me through my computer and I saw all the viruses it had, I certainly became concerned. What got me to believe them was that the guy claimed to be from windows and asked to speak to my parents, making himself sound professional and trustworthy. He recommended me to get an anti-virus and since I was scared about my computer I took their help. They had access to my computer because they were installing the anti-virus I had paid them for. While they were doing so they went through my personal files. Sending them to their computer and through the phone asking me personal questions like asking me if i was married. This is a violation of privacy. I quickly became angry and impatient for they were not completing their job and not installing what I paid for till I threatened to report them. I still have no idea how they got a hold of my phone number or how they new so much about my computer, but I am very upset and angry. I hope these people are put to a stop and that this does not happen to anyone else.
