I listed a boat dock for sale and she replied that she wanted to purchase the dock for her son for his birthday. She also wanted to send me and extra $1,100.00, $1,000.00 of which was for me to pay the shipper of the dock and the other $100.00 to cover the expenses of sending the funds via Western Union. I replied that I was not interested in paying a shipper and would prefer that she deal directly with them herself. She used the same line as a scam attempt that I saw with another potential seller of a product. She wanted to surprise her son with the gift and was on the road and did not have her credit card with her, hence the reason she wanted me to pay the shipper. I have not yet incur any loss of funds but the attempt was made.
