I received a call from a Mr. Brown that I was a winner of $750000 with a $6000 cash bonus for early entry. I was told I would need to deposit $1500 cash to an Bank of America checking account. I was then given the account name and checking account number. I was told I would have my check between 2:45 and 3:25. Right after 3:00 I received a call from Sheriff Charlie of Ellis County, a custom officer, that my prize would be delayed because all paper work to be legal was not complete. On June 20 I received a call back from Patricia that my prize would be delivered that afternoon at 1:15 IF I deposit another $3700 into another Bank of America Checking account. I told them when I received my prize I would be happy to withdraw the money after we went to the back. The answer was NO! That was illegal. The phone number I had for them a phone # that answered with Bank of America and went through the process press 1 for this, etc. I was told I would need to press 3. Mr Brown kept telling me if this was a scam and I didn't get my prize I have receipts for the deposited amounts and the money would be returned. I followed up with going to Bank of America to check this out. The money I deposited into this person's account had already withdrawn the money. Bank of America has gotten their security on it but it does not look like I will get my money back which contradicts Mr. Brown's statement. I also filed a fraud with Law Enforcement. Mr Brown stated they had a visit from Law Enforcement. I said I wanted a copy of the report but he said one was not written because they found nothing wrong. They are still calling saying they will not take vengeance on me that my prize can be delivered by 10:45 this am IF i deposit that $3700. Thank goodness I only got scammed out of $1500. Don't fall for this. I will NEVER enter another sweepstakes.
