I recieved my credit card bill and
found a fraudulent charge of $100.
I live in NJ, charge was made at the gas station in Texas. I never traveled to Texas, and never filled up my car with more than $45 worth of gas. I disputed my charges with HSBC, and got following response from them:

"This is in reference to your billing dispute in the amount (s) of $100.00 from ALON 7-ELEVEN #324 EL PASO TX.

This charge represents a gas terminal transaction. At the time of the transaction, your credit card was not reported lost/stolen, and your credit card was present. Note that because the transaction was electronic, we are unable to provide a receipt. A review of your account history identified that this charge is consistent with your spending pattern."

There is nothing in this charge that looks consistent with my spending pattern. It seems their answer was written by a machine and not human. I never had an issue like this with any other credit card. Please help to get my money back.
Thank you very much,
Igor Teperman
