Miscellaneous

Fell for an internet advert claiming wonderful things. I took it as a free trail with just postage and packing to pay. I should have been alerted when they asked for credit card details. Despite sending the product back and extensive phone calls and emails - I have been persistent - all I have got back is the original £4.95 I paid out originally. It cost me £9.90 to send the product back to Clearwater, and the company claimed they had not received it (but my barrage of emails with details from Royal Mail tracking made them decide yes they had received it). Its the first time I have been caught like this and feel very annoyed with them and annoyed with myself for falling for it. I will keep on to see if I can get the £88 back off them as I took redundancy last year and really can't afford the £88 they took from my account. I intend writing to their CEO if only to make ME feel better!
