Bought a Zumba DVD through Google Offers. Repeated attempts to solicit a ship date were met with misleading information. Today received the following email:

Attention Valued Customers;

We are writing you today to inform you that Tippr.com and its assets have been sold to nCrowd.
Here is a release from nCrowd:
“Hello

We want to welcome you as an nCrowd customer. We are pleased to announce that on April 19th nCrowd acquired certain assets of Tippr and Groupalicious and now operate these brands independently of the original owners. We look forward to earning your continued loyalty!

Unfortunately, we understand that some products purchased on the Tippr site prior to April 19th have not, or will not, be shipped by the Tippr merchants. We apologize for this inconvenience, but the matter is out of our control.

For your security and in accordance with privacy laws, nCrowd did not obtain any transactional information relating to your account and therefore we cannot refund the credit card on which you made your purchase.

We recommend that you contact your credit card company/bank and file a chargeback in the amount you paid for the voucher due to non-shipment.

Again, we apologize for any inconvenience.

Please be advised that the original owners of tippr have not forwarded your payment to Trendythings. Therefore we will not be shipping the remaining items that are left in our database. If you wish to repurchase the item directly through us at the price of the deal less a 20% discount please email cs@trendythings.ca.
Please be advised that some of you receiving this email have received your product and are to disregard this email as we have noted which items have been shipped with tracking.

As stated in the above letter, Tippr has been bought by a company called nCrowd. The previous owner of Tippr has not left any money for nCrowd to pay any outstanding orders or its merchants (trendythings.ca). Trendythings.ca has NOT received any money for any orders. We are encouraging our customers to contact their credit card company to reverse the charges.
