Claimed our transmission needed complete repair and if we didn't pay the $2500 he would not guarantee his work. We requested to see the parts and observe the problem and he refused... Said he had to send the part back quickly since it was "hot." Because we didn't want him to do a complete overhaul on our transmission without seeing the problem, he charged $1450 and would not guarantee his work. Additionally, he quoted the work to be $650 then made up some reason as to why he had raised the price!
