I own a house in Orlando, Fl, but because of Of the Type O job I had to to go up north for work. I contacted Fairwinds Credit Union to modify or refinance the loan. I was denied because they said I make too much money. I tried the same proceeding like four times, bit no luck. I tried to refinance the loan through other banks, but to my surprise I found out from other banks that the loan with fairwinds was not backed up by Fannie Mae or Sallie Mae. Fairwinds never disclosed this information to me. Right now I'm employed and they told me if I'm unemployed still I could not get the loan modified. This bank destroyed so many people's lives. I wish i could their records on how many people they helped.
