Auto Loan Rate jack due to Mortgage Modification

I was approved for a Auto Loan from Fairwinds CU one week before I went looking for a new car. I found the car I wanted at a dealership that had a sales event going on and Fairwinds CU staff was onsite for loan approvals. I was quoted a rate on the pre-appoval app of 2.7%. During the contract signing I was informed by Fairwinds onsite rep that the rate was misquoted. The new rate was going to be 3.4%. I told the Fairwinds rep that I was quoted 2.7% and was not going to purchase a car anything above the 2.7%. The onsite Fairwinds Rep contacted his boss Brian and the 2.7% was apporoved. We bought the car and now 2 weeks later the Credit Union still has not paid the dealership the money. I found out today from the dealership that the Credit Union has jacked up the rate to 4.45% due to me already having a Mortgage Modification in process through the Credit Union. This information was not disclose to me during the Loan App and I am furious about this. Fairwinds is not being Fair on this matter. They should honor the 2.7% that 3 people agreed to.
