Voucher Card Number Given and Money Vanished Within Hours

My husband was told to go and purchase a voucher card and call back with 14 digit number on the back of the card and our money would be deposited into our acct within 2 hrs. We did all of the above and checked the card within hrs and the money was gone off of the card and we tried to call number back and they didn't answer the phone. And we received no money.
