Miscellaneous

Do not sell your textbooks back to valore books!!! They are a network of scam artists looking to make you pay just as much in shipping/packaging only to give you 10% of the quoted offer for the books.

After attempting to sell around 8 of my college books back, Valore mentioned I needed to sell back "at least $20 worth of books" which required actually making two separate shipping orders (obviously had to spend money on gas driving to BOTH USPS and FedEx) only for a total quote of $40. After agreeing to send one book to Bloomington and another to Arlington (they offered more $ for shipping two separate packages to 2 different facilities), I was alerted by email that my 6 books were now only worth $10. They lied and made up fake water damage and even decreased their quoted offer on BRAND NEW BOOKS that were impossibly damaged.

My point is: do not trust valore books. Or any of their sub-companies. They rope you into sending more of your books for more money, only to completely stiff you with only 10% of their original offer. Also, they do not respond to any customer concerns or any of my messages. Better to sell them on your own. Learned my lesson for sure.
