We advertised an antique 1967 Harley Davidson for sale on Classifieds.com and he contacted us by text. When we asked to speak to him he claimed he was hard of hearing and his phone could only send text messages. He gave many stories about how wealthy he is, managing many properties in the LA area. When we questioned him about specifics we got very vague answers. As of today he claims he is in the military in a camp and is on vacation and is unable to pay his shipper direct. We had already agreed on paypal for secure payment, then he said Western Union Money Order, we immediately said NO, then he suggest he include the shipping cost in our payment and we pay the shipping company $1566.00 from the 'extra' money he was to send. I told him that was unacceptable and he is sparse in contact now. I am trying to get this guy busted and sent up stream and at this point he is not aware that we are on to him. We are playing his game, now that we know it's a game, and waiting for the authorities to act. I have filed a report that FBI and White Collar Crimes Div. Will work. He also texts in the early morning and late night hours. The more he says the more it's clear he is trying to scam us. Pray he is dealt with to the fullest extent of the law.
