I cannot believe I am yet another person to have been taken in by this terrible scam... Because I was so sceptical I even wrote letters to the three top management people in the company who replied to me assuring me that there were indeed winners and that if I followed the rules I would indeed receive my winning cheque... I have spent hundreds of pounds on ordering and doing exactly what was required - which has now put me into debt. I kept thinking the whole time - this has to be a scam but there correspondence is so convincing and when you are needing some extra income it is easily to think there might be a chance that you really will win some money. They even asked for me to send in photos and said in order for me to receive my cheque I had to agree for my photo to be published and that I would appear in advertising - which I also did and agreed to... I started to get even more suspicious when after 3 orders later having paid a couple hundred pounds I was no longer receiving the goods that I had ordered... (I had already placed several other orders prior to this as well - received only TWO of them) - surely this in itself is a criminal offence - this whole Company is absolutely fraudulent. My winning cheque was supposed to be for £49 549.00. The second last letter received said I had won a reduced cheque for £45 000.00. Today - 6th June says that I have won a cheque of £45 244.42.
I would like to point out that the management of this company on their advertising, ect... Are named as a Mr. Steven Duncan - Managing Director, David Perrin - Games Manager.
This has all caused me considerable debt, affected my health and caused great emotional grievance.
Something has to be done for all this to be stopped and more people being harmed and conned. It seems that the majority of people being caught by this too are the elderly - which is cruel.
PLEASE can we not all get together and put a stop to all these scams.
