I thought I was purchasing a 2010 Polaris Ranger 800 EFI 4X4 through Ebay; it appears someone copied eBay's format and the transaction wasn't through eBay. May 22; I wired $6,100 to the Bank of America, 201 E. Central Texas Expressway 1800 Harker Heights TX 76548, attn: Michael B. Hodges, address 1154 Hickory Dr. Killeen TX 76549, account # 488-043-205471, routing # 026-009-593; reference invoice # 470254961.
After the Polaris not arriving, it became clear it was a scam. I reported it to Ebay's; Ebay Item # 261201223492. It appears this item haas been used several times and is currently shown on Ebay for $6,400. The current listing is likely not Ebay and they are trying to scam someone else.
Key Bank (my bank) instructed me to submit this report with hopes you might be able to help me recover the lost funds. Anything you can to to hep will be appreciated.
