A woman (with a bad Asian accent) called me yesterday, 5/29, claiming to be a representative of Virtual PC Secure, explaining they are affiliated with Microsoft and somehow found out that my computer has been hacked. She connected me to a guy (who also had an Asian accent) who talked me into believing that my computer was hacked and buying lifetime support $259. I kept asking them questions about their legitimacy and sounded very convincing. Unfortunately, I am now another victim of their scam. I have already notified my credit card company. Be aware of any callers who claim that your computer has been hacked. They are very slick and convincing.
