I decided to buy a package from "Best Vacations ever" (Preferred Guest resorts) PG Resorts 12. This was a $3000 package for $898. It included 5 nights, 6 days in Orlando, 3 nights in Daytona Beach and 3 nights in the Bahamas. I was already going to Orlando for business and thought I would bring my wife and kids along for a few days of R&R.

Over the phone they promised two park tickets, when I got there they said it was only 2 tickets. I had to buy the others plus the two, but would get reimbursed for the 2 when I attend the 90min tour...
Over the phone they said accommodation 5 nights, 6 days in Orlando, when I booked 45 days in advance, they suggested the accommodation will not be big enough for 4 people, and I need to upgrade at $40 more per night...
I got there on the 17th of May, went to get my ticket, paid for them all then made an appointment for the Tue, the 21st at 11am. On the Sunday I was notified that I had to be in New York for business on the Tue, the 21st. I phoned PG resorts immediately and asked for a tour date on the Monday. I was told no place on the Monday, but I can attend the Tue earlier, 8am. I arrived there 7h30 on the 21st, talked to the lady at the front desk and explained that I might have to leave early as my flight was 11am. She said that I cannot leave early and explained that I will lose the $192 for the 2 tickets only if I do not attend. I said that the $192 is probably less than rescheduling the flights for the 4 of us, and that I will then leave for the airport, therefore not attending the tour.
Two days after arriving back in Australia I get $600 deducted off my credit card for not attending the tour. This after I was assured twice, once over the phone, and once at the Welcome centre that I will ONLY forfeit the two Disney tickets = $192.

This whole thing is a total rip-off.
