Miscellaneous

I attempted to purchase a car over craigslist.
I was weary to buy a car sight unseen and over the internet but I was fed a sap story and ensured my payment would be safe through an amazon payment program. I recieved an invoice from "amazon payments" and shared email correspondance with customer service from what I also thought was Amazon. The invoice looked professional. I bought it hook line and sinker.
I was told to submit my money through a moneygram transfer to an amazon agent in Pennsylvania. The security measures & disclosures were laid out on the bogus invoice. I was also promised a 5 day period in which I could inspect the vehicle and then approve the payment from Amazon to the seller.
Upon further inspection of the invoice, I found that the email did not come from Amazon, but from net-shopping.com.
The seller confirmed reciept of the payment and informed me that she would have the shipping company would pick up the vehicle the next day. She would then confirm when the vehicle was picked up. When I did not recieve a confirmation email, I followed up with the seller only to find the email was deleted. Moneygram confirmed the transfer was picked up in Vermont and not in Pennsylvania like it was supposed to be.
