I applied for a job posting I saw on Craig's List. I was informed the job was "filled, " but they had an opening for a "payment processor." Never having done anything along those lines, I did not know what to expect, or how to do it. I was desperate for money, so after asking a lot of questions, I did a phone "interview" with "Dean" and was told I had the "job."

He had me install Teamviewer. Exe, a program which allows others to have remote access to your system. Before granting that program access to the internet, or allowing Dean or anyone else access, I thought I was being careful by disabling the keystroke tracking feature. Dean said we had to use MY Paypal account. I thought that seemed strange, but when I questioned that, Dean had polished answers for every objection and question I had. He made arguments that seemed plausible.

My information wasn't supposed to appear on any of the invoices that were sent to the customers. But that was not the case. As it turns out, my information (name, address, etc.) ws the ONLY information the customers received. When they made payments through paypal for the invoices, though that money was sent to the "parts suppliers, " and I never saw or touched any money, it turns out that is not how Paypal, or law enforcement views these transactions.

Unwittingly, I got caught up in Dean's scam. People legitimately paid for parts they did not receive, and now I am indebted for money I allegedly received and for parts I did not send. I never had access to the parts inventory, nor did I receive any money. But I am now financially responsible, and may also be facing prosecution.

Thank you very much, Dean, you lying, cheating scumbag, for ruining my reputation with Paypal, for putting me in financial ruin and for making me the possible target of criminal and civil investigations.
