Called by a different number in DC area and told that I was being awarded a blind grant from the US government because of a demographic stimulus survey that had been done last year. To claim my $9,000 grant I needed to call another number and give my confirmation code. However, then the caller offered to transfer me to the supervisor if I gave my address. I started to give him the address as I looked up scams online. When I saw others asked to call different people at this same number I hung up.
