Just recently, President Bush said that American companies are suffering a competitive disadvantage around the world because of the high cost of lawsuits and legal insurance at home. "The costs of frivolous lawsuits in some cases make it prohibitively expensive for a small business to stay in businessJustice ought to be fair, " the president said. Those who have been hurt ought to have their day in court. But a judicial system run amok is one that makes it really hard for small businesses to stay in business. (USA Today December)

All Businesses beware — Steven H. Carney will use you and your services and then will demand a refund even though he benifited from your services. He has scam that he works with everyone he does business -

What people are saying about this man: It became increasingly difficult to deal with Mr. Carney. He was indignantand in general made the business relationship so adversarial (threatening legal action among other things). We were convinced we could not satisfy the customer.

Mr. Carney contacted the Better Business Bureau... And filed a complaint against me. He demanded a refund of the retainer.in my opinion, the statements that Mr. Carney made against me were untrue and he continued to send emails that were upsetting."

I found Mr. Carney to be the most difficult client with whom I have ever dealt. Mr. Carney was incredibly annoying, never satisfied, and constantly complaining in ways I have never before experienced. Although I did everything possible to satisfy him, he persisted and ultimately resorted to tape recording my phone conversations with him without my permission. His virtual harassment of me led to my firm actually firing him as a client."
