Groupon Posts my Underwear Purchase to my Facebook Timeline - $16.99 for a 2-Pack of Ben Sherman Men%u2019s Boxers or Trunks in Black or White ($40 List Price)

Miscellaneous

Yesterday, I logged onto my Facebook account and discovered that Groupon had posted an announcement of my purchase of underwear (complete with pictures), on my wall, for ALL to see. Family, friends, co-workers, bosses, clients, church friends/colleagues. 100's of connections all saw what appeared to be me posting my new purchase of underwear through Groupon.

How do I feel? Shocked, Humiliated, INVADED. I feel as though my privacy has been thoughtlessly run-over. Groupon essentially hung my underwear in the public square! So much shame on them for being so careless, so stupid. I find it hard to believe that they could allow such a humiliating thing to happen.

A big, big thumbs-down to Groupon for their carelessness. I'd like to ask the person responsible for allowing this how they'd like it if someone took pictures of their bedroom, or copied their purchase receipts, say, and logged on to THEIR Facebook account and posted them for all to see.

I would imagine they would be very angry, and quite possibly press charges. I want a response from the person responsible.
