I applied for a loan online and was contacted by this company. I called the number given and spoke with Angela Gordon.
She advised me the loan (for $10,000) had to be secured with 3 payments, or I could secure with my car title. I looked all over the web and could not find any complaints against them, so I throught the were legit.
I filled out contract which offered "optional" insurance.
I sent them all documentation as requested and sent $777.00 dollars to secure the loan through a greendot reload.
The next morning my funds had not gone through to my bank account so I called. I was advised that through company error I should have not been offered optional insurance, but since it was their fault they would credit me for a portion. I then sent them another $500.00 (through greendot). The next day I was advised that that was wrong also and would have to pay the entire amount for the insurance which would have been another $1000.00. At that point I told them to refund my money. I was assured I would have it the next day. I am still waiting 3 weeks later.
I called greendot and reported them and their card privelages have been taken away.
Now, I see their website is down as well.
I am assuming I have completely lost those funds, which was my rent. I hope they rot in #$!!
