Miscellaneous

My wife received an email allegedly from agent John Edward, who called himself the regional director of the FBI, at the J. Edgar Hoover building in Washington.

His email said the FBI had coniscated two trunk boxes at Kennedy Airport, New York, containing $4.1 million, plus documents bearing my wife's name. The letter said the funds were to be delivered to her residence, as payment due here for "unpaid contract, inheritance, lotto, loan, etc."

The email quoted some legal thing which said she was required to contact him immediately, and that failure to do so could lead to her being "arrested, interrogated and prosecuted in the court of law for money laundering."

There's lots more. But it clearly was a scam. So I talked to our local FBI office, where I was told to contact you.

The return email request for this John Edward is different than the one at the top of the email. It says his address is: agent. John e0001@superposta.com
