Miscellaneous

I became infected with the ukash virus (ransomware) and found this company's help number on a "how to remove the ukash virus" website. Strangely, all the people i spoke to (5 in all) had never heard of it!
Your first contact is a sales guy who is very sympathetic to your problems but is not a techie, he just wants to sell you lifetime licences. After parting with $280 my pc was handed on to a "specialist" to be cleaned.in all three attempts were made with no success. I watched for several hours the remote diagnostics and was not impressed with the random clicking from their menu of tools.
After three days of phone calls i complained and they did refund all my money.
Seems an expensive service for very little benefit
