Miscellaneous

I was working on my computer when a screen popped up saying it was a Microsoft partner suggesting that I backup my files for $47.00 so I accepted and gave my credit card #. The screen flashed and showed a thank you for $70 odd dollars and was gone before I could get the details and couldn't print it. It immediately acted like it was backing up, but very slowly so I left it. Sunday morning it still had my computer all tied up and I couldn't get rid of the screen. I had contacted them vial email several times on Saturday and they assured me a ticket had been opened. I got mad on Sunday and demanded they refund my money and give me confirmation. They only reported that their cancellations department would be in touch... Which never happened. Today I removed the software as I couldn't do anything without their stupid screen showing up on top and the computer freezing, necessitating a shut down. I sent them an email to respond otherwise I would be reporting them - no answer... I am concerned. I have Norton 360 so I didn't feel I even needed this but figured if it was Microsoft partner and was involved with pay pal it must be legit.
