Miscellaneous

There are a lot of complaints about the marketing practices of these companies. They offer 'free trials' of their products (face creams) in which you only (in theory) pay the postage.in the terms and conditions however they tell you that if you have not informed them within 14 days that you no longer wish to have the product then they will charge you a large sum for the cream that they have sent, and will also automatically enroll you for monthly deliveries of refills. These amounts will be deducted from your credit or debit card that you gave them to pay for the postage. If you do want to cancel then you need to send back the rest of the sample to Israel (making it more expensive than just sending it back to your own country of course). The only way to stop it is to phone up your bank or credit card company and get them to cancel the card that you used. Collagenta in particular have a website that allows you to change the frequency with which they send the refills. Log in to this and cancel the automatic shipments. You should have been given a password when you registered. Their marketing methods are immoral but as far as I can see, they are legal because they tell you what they are going to do in their T&Cs. The free trial is however only 'free' if you cancel it before the 14 days. (And then it is not really free since you need to return the product). When trying a new website for the first time ALWAYS google the name of the product and the words 'scam' or 'forum' or 'review' and always read the T&Cs.
