Miscellaneous

On or about Mar 12 I was completing an order on Amazon.com and a "pop-up" came up and said something like as follows: Since I was an Amazon customer, I was eligible to receive a free watch if I completed a survey. It said all I would have to do was to pay shipping and handling of $5.99. I completed the survey. The watch arrived a few days later. It was not worth the 5.99. It's still in the box. On or about Mar 30, my credit card was charged $98.00. That's when the real scam began. It was not with the worthless watch. I got the watch free as promised for the $5.99 S & H. But I ordered nothing else and am expecting nothing else — except for a credit of $98.00 being put through on my credit card account, and that TBM*MARK MAX CO permanently erase my credit card information from their records. It is a shame that your company, TBM*MARK MAX CO, has to ruin a legitimate method of internet marketing for others by scamming it up. Come on guys. Give me my $98.00 back.

The company went into my check card account and deceivingly took $88.99 for a watch in which was a promotion for $1.00

After completing a survey online, I was told that I had won a beautiful geneva watch worth 88.99 and would only have to pay for shippiing and handling. Shipping and handling was billed for 5.99
