I called National Recovery Services after seeing an advertisement in the Toledo Blade. I was very hesitent with "Jason" the man I had spoken with. He was very persistant and I tried to get off of the phone, but he had gotten my number first. After a few minutes he called and insisted that I try working for them. He said that I would be issued refund checks from The United States Treasury, so I figured it was ligit. He also told me I had to complete a thirty-day training program and had to give them a $130.00 deposit. I was not willing to give that to him right away so he convinced me to post date a check until December 10. Stupidly, I agreed, I was just sick of arguing wiht him. I recieved a packet in the mail on December 12, which was the so called training packet.in this a description of the job was given. It said that I was going to be paid by personal checks from people after I help them get their money, which was not what I was told by Jason. Also it described the training program as a ninety day program, not a thirty day one like previously said to me on the phone. I have not been able to get ahold of anything since.
