Three Unauthorized Credit Card Charges Made at the Same Time

My credit card had unauthorized (illegal) charges applied to it 3 times at the same time. After I received an SMS from my credit card center, I called and asked to have my card temporarily suspended. How does this happen, and why are WE interrogated when questioning the credit card company? Scamming people is obviously a way for this business to make money.

How can I stop these sources from charging my credit card again??
