After receiving an email from my provider saying I was using excessive bandwidth, I inquired with Service Electric. I was told to call the company from which I purchased my router from, which was Belkin. I was on the phone for over an hour with technical help. He told me it wasnt from excessive bandwidth but something was terribly wrong with my computer and he could help me. I ended up purchasing an anti-virus "kaspersky" for $69.99. Then I was told the next day he had something better for me. At this point, I knew something was wrong. Therefore, I deleted "kaspersky" knowing I was scamed. The payment was taken out of my checking account for the amount of $69.99. The money went to PAYPAL DATA Connect. I called the technical support and told them I deleted the anti virus and wanted my money back. Needless to say, they said they didn't know who I was and couldn't help me. I notified my bank for help with no sucess. I do have a copy of the email from paypal dataconnect with an email address:
infogle.com@yahoo.com. I also have a phone number which is outside the US. 91 9915922197.
I do have a pay pay account and on the bank records is a phone # 402-935-7733. After calling that number, they had no record of any payment taken out of my paypal account. Can not figure out why the number was there on my bank statement.
I have been trying to get help to get my money back but with no success. I'm hoping you can help me. I do have copies of all emails and have a copy of my bank statement from the bank.
This transaction was done on March 18 of this year.
Again, I want to mention, Kaspersky was deleted the following day. I no longer have them as my anti virus protection.
I know I was scammed and want my money back.
