On 22 Feb received high pressure sales call from above organisation - they work on playing to your Professional ego and eagerness to network with like minded people. I felt uneasy when I questioned further that " Stanford " was used to attract professionals ie a name they came up with with no relation to the university. I then googled the company and found all the scam activity. Within 2 hours I cancelled my transaction with a major Australian bank. I was sent shortly afterwards (next day) confirmation email from who's who ie welcome email which I opened asking me to login and check my "wonderful profile". I read the fine print which said login means acceptance of the transaction. Naturally I didn't login having been a compliance manager for over 20 years. Two days later - true to form a Who's Who salesperson called and was abusive as to why I had cancelled the transaction - I explained the the scam allegations. She then tried to pressure me into logging into my account - I explained I wouldn't and the reason why. She was so aggressive I hung up. Then 3 months later my bank sends a letter that who's who has sent information That i did log in - ie falsified transaction listing. Who's Who created the transaction login not on actual login to the account but opening of the welcome email. Who's who would have recorded the phone call where explicitly refused to login but funnily enough they haven't handed that recording to the bank. Please consumers be aware this is a SCAM!!! Avoid at all costs.
